ALI SABERI, M.D.
ABOUT
Being from Persian descent, born and raised in Washington DC where he lived till 19 years of age, he moved to Iran to help his parents start a new beginning. During his time there, his mother passed away, which profloundly influenced his journey. His medical training began in 1993 at The University of Pecs, Medical Science Center, in Hungary. Being able to travel all over Europe allowed him to experience many different cultures over an 8 year span. Graduating in 2001, he began to develop a relationship with The United Nations High Commission For Refugees in Iran, and subsequently joining Doctors Without Borders. This began his humanitarian medical work in Afghanistan, shortly after September, 11, 2001.
